Made In Connemara

Beautiful sunny day in Connemara yesterday so we a break from the Studio and went for a drive to Clifden, Kylemore and The Inagh Valley.

This is my first painting of the year, painted during rainy and grey January 2018. Maybe the grey miserable weather was the reason I choose warm bright colours? Who knows really what inspires a painting, it's a combination of emotions, dreams and inspirations from all my surroundings.

There are signs that this terrible Stormy Winter is about to leave us! I took these photographs of Daffodils the other day. The Daffodills are popping up all around the Studio in Connemara.
