Made In Connemara

This is my first painting of the year, painted during rainy and grey January 2018. Maybe the grey miserable weather was the reason I choose warm bright colours? Who knows really what inspires a painting, it's a combination of emotions, dreams and inspirations from all my surroundings.

There are signs that this terrible Stormy Winter is about to leave us! I took these photographs of Daffodils the other day. The Daffodills are popping up all around the Studio in Connemara. Photographed with the Daffodil is our latest design in the Anam Cara (Soul Friend) series. This is a Hat Pin and it is also available as a Scarf and Coat Pin.

This is a short video about part of the process of making the Connemara Pebble Pendant. A pendant that is inspired by my love of stones found by the Atlantic Ocean here in Connemara.

This is the view from down the road from the Studio. Even the dog Lassie loves to come here to chill out!

We took a break from making jewellery in the Studio and went for a walk in the Atlantic Ocean. Thought about swimming but it was January!
